Pi was the name that had everyone in question. What is the meaning of Pi? We know that is the name of someone that has suffer most of his life. Pi means something for its family and friends, a nickname. But after all that Pi has been through it has a different significant. What is Pi? A number 3.14 that is the circumference of a circle, because his real name is Piscine meaning pool. But why did he decided to use Pi (3.14) as a nickname? Probably it was just because or waset that he knew that he was someone in life or infinite.
I like the line: after all that Pi has been through, it has a different significance. This is true. We believe pi to but just some irrational number that is annoying to deal with in math, but in other contexts it means much more that that. When you apply the word pi to other things, the meaning can change.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your points about pi and what it means to different people. Pi is a number and it is also a person who had to deal with many problems. To different people it will have different meanings because some people know about Life of Pi while others only know about the pi that has to do with math. The only thing I suggest you do is that you should proofread your paragraph before publishing it because the errors in your paragraph made it kind of hard to read. Other than that your commentary was great, though it could have been better if you expanded on your ideas more.
